the chorus makes me think of ancient warfare, the army storms the gates, conquers, raise the new flag, take over the throne, but there will be so many revolts from the people who used to live there, or the country will want there city bak so more war will follow and it would just be easier to burn the city down. the songs obviously not about ancient war at all, but im a history guy so thats what i think of |

how is there only 19 comments, this song is absolutley amazing. I really wish i cud speak of what this song means, but i have been trying to interpret it from the day the cd came out. I would say revolution, but then the slow part talking about sneaking out is very love song sounding, so i have no idea |

this is my favorite song off the whole cd. im still struggling with the meaning entirely. i think the first verse is saying he used to be sumeone who thought he cud take anything, he tried to take everything that was dealt to him by his friends or gal and even when he cudnt take it, he pretended and it lead to him getting kinda screwed over in sum way and thats when he decided it was time to let go of that person, not give up on them but just decide to go his own way. the second verse i think might be like it got to the point where it was kinda the same thing everyday and he was getting sick of it. the part where it goes the wind died, the whole world cease to move etc... is still confusing to me i dont understand the meaning, but i love it...may not be the greatest interpretation |

i see it more as losing a wife/girlfriend because he did somethign stupid that got her killed, or him and his wife/girlfriend would always fight and they broke up and maybe she killed herself or just died and he feels bad because he couldve not fought with her and things would have turned out different. |

the way i see it its about a guy who has always liked or loved a girl but the girl thinks of him as just a friend and he is trying to convince her that he loves her and that he wants a relationship with her and wants her to take his hand. probably wrong but thats what i get |

i think its about someone who spent all their time with a girl instead of his friends and he did everything for her and she didnt care to much and left him and he was left without his friends cuz they moved on. and me personally i like the cd maybe im just weird but i think the cds have gotten better as theyve gone on i believe the unraveling was the worst cd then revolutions per minute then siren song then appeal to reason and sufferer and the witness was the best, but thats just me |
