i don't really care for all time low. but i love this song, especially the lyrics. i didn't recognize this as all time low at first. i think this is much better than any of their work i have heard before (their hit stuff). i give kudos to the band for this song. it fits alice in wonderland (obviously) perfectly but i can also relate from more of a relationship perspective. |

Adam's vocals in this are purely amazing. He has always been my favorite vocalist, and he never disappoints. The whole band themselves never disappoint to make amazing albums. I love the lyrics. The meaning is pretty straight-forward. Going from being broken due to a former love to pulling yourself together and starting a new life. You can really hear the pain in Adam's voice, and the strength when it turns around saying that he's okay and he's finally opened up his eyes. |

This sounds way different than what I'm used to by Three Days Grace, but it is still an amazing band! I'm just listening through their new album, and so far it is amazing! Three days grace never fails to make the best music and their lyrics really can hit you :) I love this song! |

I think this song could be about numerous different situations. But overall, it's about how nowadays people have become so selfish and hung up on material objects. We've become so greedy and inconsiderate that everyday more and more people are forgetting what's most important and/or thinking less about others. Being the "light in this darkened world" would be living against these customs and serving as a role model to others. As I said, I think it could represent multiple situations.. about the world as a whole and war. Or everyday life. Or activists or protesters for a good cause. etc. |

It's not what the song is about but the way I relate to it is that I never open up to loved ones whether they be a special someone or friends or family etc. I have a tendency to lie about things in avoidance of "heart-to-heart conversations" or specific subjects in general. So people call me cold-hearted or emotionless and crap. And yeah, my mom and I constantly fight because I don't talk to her about what goes on and I don't have a relationship w/ my parents. Not that it's my intention to be "cold" but it's just me. "I never really wanted you to see The screwed up side of me that I keep Locked inside of me so deep" |

i can't say i like the all american rejects, and i can't say i love this song either. but i love the meaning. pretty straightforward, guy and girl break up, and he acts as if hes better off without her anyways and he's glad they're over. he wants to make her hurt, almost to make up for the hurt he went through when they broke up. but inside he's just denying it and he's lying and he really misses her. he wants to feel wanted. |
