I would play this song while playing a certain mmorpg around 2000 and grinding out characters there and this song always seemed to fit. "You're living in a fantasy world" and "I've lost my way" made me re-think a lot of my decisions back then. It was sort of surreal as I would play so much I'd actually dream in that world,"I'm lost at sea, don't bother me", as if my brain had been rewired to fit that dimension, "I spiral down". Now that I look back it was the worst and best of times. I still have fond memories of residing in that world with Radiohead to help guide me within and then ultimately out of that life and routine. Now my life in a 180 turn, I'll sometimes sit on a surfboard and still hear these songs that guide...well another dimension in my life. :) |
