She meets the perfect guy, Everything kicks off perfectly, And over a small period of time (I'm Guessing) she's hit with the fact that he's already taken. The person is feeling so exasperated because she thought she had that person in her hands, There was no doubt he wasn't, or couldn't, or wouldnt be hers. And she's angry at his girlfriend ultimatley for multiple reasons, the guy, and herself. She's trying to deal with the fact, and distance hersef, but he keeps giving her hope.So she's stubborny holding on to what she thought she had, and defiantly places hersef above the girlfriend. She's smug when she see's the Girlfriends jealousy. He keeps sugar coating the truth, and she goes along with it. Until she slowly catches on. She knows she had aready caught on, but she's finally ready to give up what was never hers. I don't think she was ever really cocky. At all. |
