| I think the song may be in reference too Terrence McKenna's book "Food of the Gods". The opening passage describes a Shaman going through a trip, feeling like an electric eel and then having a vision of an electric eel in front of him. The rest of the chapter goes onto describe McKenna's journey through the Amazon, at one point he is given ayauhuasca from a Shaman woman...maybe the lyrics are just a coincidence but I think they just may have read the book, or the first chapter at least. | |
