I don't really think this song is talking about weed much at all. To me its sort of saying that people are always looking for a cure for the the problems that they've created for themselves. That if they created the problem then they already know how to fix it. They just have to look within themselves.[Their backyard] That today people are always trying to find a quick fix with medications and people to guide them. That people stopped doing things on their own and are dependent on everything besides themselves. They need to wake up and realize they can fix it. |

So he's basically saying that religion is holding him down and he doesn't want to be molded by everyone else,that hes sick of hearing what everyone is saying he has to be free of religion and form his own ideas. But I don't know about the parts where he write about dieing the tumors etc. Like god will be the death of him as himself and he will be a robot? |
