The Twilight Sad – I Became a Prostitute Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Is it definitely 'you are a bearer of a womb without love'? I always thought it was 'you are a bairn of a womb without love', as in the Scottish word for baby/child. Makes a lot of sense. |

'theirs' is a misspelling, it should there there's, as in 'there is'. I also think that; '..clock is right it's a bad time Because you crushed our love' is wrong, it doesn't sound like it all. Though I can't offer much in terms of correction. |

"Go and marry" isn't even close to what it sounds like. The line sounds like it starts with "Walking".. "Never even think to make" ^ This is undoubtedly "I don't even think to make" "Try to be nice stay the night with the sinners Try to be nice cos we're desperate to entertain" ^ The initial few words are certainly wrong, though I can't offer much correction. "Afraid of the heights"? |

Venom/Then I'm sound pretty similar, but Venom makes a lot more sense. |
The Antlers – Sylvia Lyrics | 14 years ago |
tackledspoon's interpretation is hilarious. It's clear what the song is about if you follow the narrative of the whole album. His lover's first encounter with her cancer is in Kettering, and here they are falling out and arguing, spurred by the difficulties of facing her illness. Next in Atrophy (meaning a gradual decline in something, often related to the body wasting away), she is worked up and accusing him of not caring, sleeping around etc, arguing and fighting, but he still stands there. |

Does It Offend You, Yeah? – Let's Make Out Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Only one of you picked it up, it's about masturbation, over his/about his girlfriend. "I can't control myself when I see you there's no one else when I get down all by myself you're the one that I think about" That ^, plus the fact they've said it is ;) |
