nothing makes me more mad than when people mistake this song as an "awesome" song about getting high. This song has nothing to do about being fucked up and its actually really very intelligent when the lyrics are actually taken into consideration thefirst time I've seen these lyrics applied in a mostly appropriate way was in the movie Slumdog Millionaire, which was fabulous by the way. |

I think this song is about knowing you love someone so much more than they love you, and its not that they don't love you, its that they can't love you the way you want them to. At the same time, it hurts too much trying to take from them what you need to be happy, or trying to get them to love you the same way, because you know that they'll never be happy if they do. |
