Scattered Trees – Sympathy Lyrics | 12 years ago |

Athlete – Superhuman Touch Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I'm pretty sure it's "Endless blue sky and a pocket full of tricks to try." |
Athlete – Don't Hold Your Breath Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I think it's more about being in a relationship for a long time, and then realizing that that person has changed("but I don't know you now"), and trying to figure out what to do. The solution comes as ending things ("dark throws me a lifeline"). "Don't hold your breath," I see applying in two ways: 1: Telling the person not to hold their breathe that another 'solution' will be made clear. 2: Telling yourself not to hold your breath for the other person to change back to who they once were, even though you miss that person "I'm blowing breath..."). |
Athlete – The Outsiders Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I was told "It's about being British in back-country America" by the lead singer. |
Paper Route – Are We All Forgotten Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I'm pretty sure it is. They are at least comprised of Christians. This site sums it up. http://www.one21music.com/artist-search/?ca=y&n=4936 |
Dr. Manhattan – Gunpowder: A Ballet Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I don't think its stalker-esque: "While I know I've your recognition It's of its nature I'm not sure. If I could ever push this question I'd shut my ears for the answer." which indicates that she knows he is there, but he doesn't know (or really want to know) what their relationship is, even though he knows its not how he wants it. |
Future of Forestry – Twilight Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I think that missing line is "and is it nostalgia" |
As Cities Burn – Wrong Body Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I think this song may be referring to the fact that the desires of the flesh often make us look back in regret. The will of the soul is not to sin, but the will of the body sins easily. Therefore being in the "wrong body", would essentially be saying that the desires of his heart and flesh don't match. With this, the song is also, as previously said, about the amazing grace of God. |
Colour Revolt – Blood In Your Mouth Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I see this song as telling about how so many people (Christians in particular) settle for the minimum. "They say our feet were made for dirt" would be the statement made by those content to live as such. "I disagree" then becomes saying "I'm not settling for walking, I want to fly" kind of idea. |
