Damn! This is the soundtrack of someone's life at this very moment! (mine..) hahaha.. I think this song is about two people who loved each other, initially thinkin' what they had was meant forever when it really wasn't.. He definitely loved her deeply since he frequently mentioned how much he tried to hold on, but when he tried to salvage what was left from the relationship, it eventually comes to a reality when he realized what they once had was no longer there.. Evidently, what had happened (the circumstances may vary, in my case was the difference in our priority) made him loved her a little less than before.. |

Like any other coldplay songs, they managed to bring emotion into their songs which the listeners often relate to.. I guess this song represents the fear and desperation one must feel when faced to a difficult and somewhat traumatizing situation, that in the hardest of times you need to have someone close to accompany u, cause as simple as it is, nobody can survive alone.. "In a bullet proof vest With the windows all closed" So much hurt that u hesitate to ever open yourself up to the world, fearing that the desperation would just repeat itself..When that time comes, i'll see u soon.. Combined with Chris Martin's vocals, this one stays permanent in my playlist! |
