ive loved this song since i was kid. when i was a kid, i went through a lot of shit, and i remember lying on my bedroom floor crying and singing my heart out to this all the time. to me it means someone in your life, who is usually really good to you, someone that helps you, then they either turn their back on you, or theyre really horrible to you, and you just want to get the fuck away from them even if you end up in the middle of nowhere because anywhere would be better than being near this person. i dont necessary mean a boyfriend or whatever, this reminds me of a guy that used to abuse me when i was a kid, before he did he was cool, then he raped me and abused me, and i just wanted the fuck away from him, but i was 10 and didnt have a clue what was going on and i turned to alcohol and drugs, and i know they were bad for me, but so was he, so yeah, the pills werent good, neither was he and i just wanted to run as fast as i can to the middle of nowhere so i was nowhere near him or the pills and drink. one of my favourite songs ever :) |
