I have yet to even hear this song. But, just reading the lyrics makes me want to cry. How I wish the whole world would come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. I know Christianity is a turn-off for some. But, I tell you...it's because they don't understand what it's really all about. My relationship with Jesus is the greatest relationship I have ever had in my life. He left his Holy Spirit to guide us through this life...just as this song beautifully states. |

He just has too many songs with references to other men, like in "To Be Alone With You" when he says "you gave up a wife and a family...to be alone with me" so it would make sense that he is gay. I believe the lyric in that song you referred to...is actually a lyrical statement about Jesus. Meaning, Jesus Christ gave up a wife and family to have a relationship with US. He didn't come to Earth to have a human relationship, He came to die on a cross to save our sins...so that we could have a relationship with HIM. Nothing homosexual about that. |

Jon Foreman has stated that Keith Green is one of his musical influences. And interestingly, Keith Green also wrote a wonderful song based off of Psalm 51 "Create in Me A Clean Heart." I love Keith's version of the psalm. And I love Jon's version of the psalm. Wonderful. |
