I might be way off: I'm feeling the singer is maybe a dance teacher/dance partner, wants to be with the girl, and the girl has asked if they'll teach her boyfriend to dance. the singer role is jealous, wants to say something but cant ''im biting my tongue, he's kissing on you, why cant you see?'' they're scared if they teach her boyfriend how to dance they'll have no special bond any more as their only connection is through dancing: ''the second I do, I know we're gonna be through'' im still unsure of the girl: girl...maybe its generdless intention, but it would have worked ''you are the girl, ive been dreaming of, ever since i was a little boy'' maybe its a lesbian dance instructor! who knows?!
