Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Area 52 Lyrics 11 years ago
"Your instruments can't stop our ships
Soon you'll be up in it
Rest wil be blown to bits"

That's what I hear anyway.

Sonic Youth – Shadow Of A Doubt Lyrics 11 years ago
I definitely hear, "Didn't do it, didn't do it." Honestly, this makes more sense to me with the rest of the lyrics and the book reference. Perhaps she wants to pretend it's all dream, and that it didn't actually happen. Perhaps it's regret.

I Am Ghost – The Dead Girl Epilogue: Part One Lyrics 11 years ago
If you didn't notice, the whole thing is a concept album about an angel and a vampire that fall in love, or at least, that's what it appears to be according to the artwork that's all over the CD.

Searchlight – Heartless Lyrics 11 years ago
I submitted these lyrics a very long time ago, but I happened to come across this song again just looking through my iTunes. I think it's quite simple actually, well, the meaning of it that is to say. The narrator is saying that he feels like a robot, or if you want to be imaginative, then he's saying he is literally a robot. Haha. And because he's a robot, he doesn't understand the concept of love. It's not in his programming to be able to comprehend such a complex thing. Like the narrator says, this could be lucky that he can't understand love, but then the only purpose of his existence would be to work. In the chorus, the narrator seems to be speaking to someone and trying to tell them to love him because even though he may appear heartless, he's not, he's "so, so far from heartless," in fact. He apparently loves someone and he wants them to say that they love him, too, which he implies by saying, "tell me back, tell me back." He goes on to say, "there's no program yet, but I tell you I think I'm in love." Again, this is a reference to his "robotic", stoic state, but here, he's saying that even though he hasn't been programmed to be able to understand love that he legitimately thinks that he is in love. "I'm finding that love is a choice and not a law." This is basically saying that he thinks that love is something that everything can feel, even robots. Love is a choice of our being, not based on who or what we are. That's my take on it, I suppose. Hope this helps.

I Am Ghost – The Dead Girl Epilogue: Part One Lyrics 14 years ago
I listened to it very closely for a few times and I think this is what the girl at the end is saying. I could be wrong, but oh well.

Isn't this what you've deamed about?
Isn't this what you've prayed about?
When we dance
From our lips and tongue, we kissed
Delicately sketched as we fly past
Like snowflakes of lost bliss
Dreams like memories
Isn't this what you've dreamed about
And think about?
Are you wanting to stay with me?

"well crawl dignifed"

i think he's saying "we'll call it dignified" instead.

The Veils – The Letter Lyrics 15 years ago
I don't know, I kind of feel like it's one of those situations where someone he used to have feelings for comes back into his life and she wants to be in a relationship with him again, but he knows that they're not right for each other, so it makes finding love harder with her around. The part where he says "I know, I know, I know" kind of makes me think that he's tired of hearing her excuses, which she may have written down in a letter. The part where he's talking about all that he's lost, he might mean that he is not going to be in a relationship with this girl again and watch her leave, but he's curious to know anyway. And when he talks about her walking blind in "here", it could possibly mean that he thinks that they're blinded by love. Then the part where he talks about washing her heart in the river, he might mean that he wants her to forget about whatever feelings they used to have for each other so that they can start anew. At the end of the song, he's just saying that he needs to say goodbye to her, but he wants to say it right.

Well, I'm not sure if any of that is right, obviously, but that's just what I think.

Nobuo Uematsu – Liberi Fatali Lyrics 15 years ago
If you look it up on Wikipedia, it implies that "fithos lusec wecos vinosec" means succession of witches. It also mentions that "Liberi Fatali" means fated children. Apparently, it was supposed to say "Liberi Fatales" though.

I love this song. :)
Has anyone else noticed that there is the sound of plates or something breaking in the background? I thought that was very unique.

Emilie Autumn – A Plea to the Dying (Poem) Lyrics 15 years ago
I love the way Emilie reads this poem because she puts so much emotion in it, especially this part:

"Who says you must?
If you love, if she loves,
Why ask the world to take notice?
Just let it be
And come loving out of choice, not duty.
Am I so blind?
What do I not see when I look at her that you do?"

The ending is kind of inaudible, so I do not know if these lyrics are even correct.

Emilie Autumn – Little Boy (Poem) Lyrics 15 years ago
I really like how Emilie repeats "little boy" because it makes it sound like she's writing letters to him or something. The reference to the rabbit is my favorite, but the end is well written as well.

Garbage – Can't Seem To Make You Mine Lyrics 15 years ago
This is one of my favorite songs by Garbage. Does anyone else notice how it kind of sounds like a heart beating? I don't know.

Btw. I really love this song, but the only place I can seem to find it is Limewire. Is there any other place to get it?

Emilie Autumn – Empty (Poem) Lyrics 15 years ago
I love the way Emilie read this poem on her "Your Sugar Sits Untouched" cd. The only thing that I really thought took away from the frightening sense of this poem is the last two lines. This poem doesn't really need the last two lines, well at least I think so.
