i think this song is about the typical workers life, on how you should not take everything so seirously.. "Run the race backwards we're the first to finish last.The others will lap as we just laugh" thats a great line and the wunder years are so fucking fresh, people really should be commenting a lot more on these guys...

A guy who is depressed by old memories of someone who is selfish, but who he still loves and can't get over. he doesn't want to change, he wants to remain himself, he would rather for his ex/old lover to change and become less selfish. pretty self-explanitory, but if you disagree post it you little bitches.

this song is great, kind of mysterious, not a set meaning on this one. this song is one where the artist wants it to mean different things to different people. he does not establoish a clear image of his problem in this song, just the whole frustration and confusion. if he would want this song to have a set meaning, he would have made himself clear, but he has not done that... thats my view on this wonderful song

and another mistake(who the fuck wrote these lyrics?) is "when people are either consumers or evolutionaries" but it really is, "When people are either consumers or revolutionaries," try those instead of the trash lyrics actually written down.

its definately not "sanitary" or " show them all another option" its " Sure beats every other option" thats the best fitting, anyway, this is a great fucking song, there is a whole unity theme to the song on how its played and sung. terrorific punk song! |
