This song reminds me of my ex, I was so in love with him he was my everything and we were good together just not really relationship good, more best friend good. Now I'm in an amazing relationship with someone I adore and have fallen in love with, me and my ex are still best friends but I sometimes wonder whether we could have ever worked out. He was never prepared for a relationship as much as I was, he never treat me like a girlfriend, perhaps it was just young love. But this song will always remind me of him. I love this song nevertheless. To me it has that 'you had me, you lost me' vibe to it. Basically about a woman in a new amazing relationship looking back at her past relationship in which she was besotted with someone, and really thought he was the one.. but he messed it up and let her go for good. And now he probably regrets it. |

At first I didn't think much of this song but after a few listens it's really starting to grow on me. It may not be one of her greatest songs, but I think it definately has some potential. It is rather catchy in some places of the song, especially: 'Yeah i heard it through the grapevine.' and 'Let me whisper in your ear' But, I think it's a good song. Will be a good song for the clubs. I think the meaning is that she's in a club and sees a guy that everyone likes, she wants to dance with him before anybody else does. Or something like that :) |

I can't believe nobody has commented on this yet. I love this song, much better than Don't Upset The Rhythm in my opinion! I think this song is about a couple who split up, they both loved each other but it didn't work out. Both didn't think they could be friends, but its as if she's saying "You know what, yeah we can be friends. So it didn't work out? Who cares, lets just be good friends!" She's saying to him that he was always special to her, she says: 'So glad you're back again' Maybe after they split they didn't talk, and now they're back to being friends and she's glad because she really cares about him: 'Don't you know that you're my joy?' and she never wants him to forget her: 'Always remember me' This song is so lovely, it sort of has a 60's feel to it. One thing i'd like to add, it's one of those songs that just flies by! As soon as i press play, it's over again! Love it though! Plus, she has a fantastic voice! |

I think its basically about Carey and how she doesn't really want him to go, but she makes it out like she does. She says shes become "Abnoxious." and that they're always fighting so thats why they've broken up. She believes she doesn't need him; "I always say how i don't need you." but then always goes back to missing him, "But its always gonna come right back to this." But its basically her begging him not to leave her because she still loves him. I love this song, i really can relate to this, sometimes when i get so angry with my boyfriend and we have a fight we end up not talking for a while, but then i cant stay angry at him because i love him so much and i end up missing him, and we both end up apologising and coming back together again. I love this song, P!nk rocks, i really can't wait for the new album! :D |

I can't believe nobody has commented this yet! This song is brilliant! And one of my favourite 80's songs for sure. It's so uplifting and lovely to listen to, about true love. Nothing could tear them apart, they still loved each other and had faith the other still loved them too! Sweet song :) ps. This song reminds me of Sex And The City. When Carrie was going out with Aidan, he was always there everytime she came home from work, and eventhough she loved him she just wanted one hour to herself. She drew a curtain across blocking her from him in the living room, and her on her bed. And after a few moments she drew it back and went and sat with him, awww. Great song! Great artist! |

What it means to me is that someone has lost someone, either a best friend, family member or a lover to a break up or an illness/death. They don't want to remember the horrible thing that parted them, they want to forget that, they just want to remember the good times when they were both happy and that person will always be in their memory, which is said in the line, "I'll hold you in my memory." A truly beautiful song! |

I love this song, "You're looking very Shane today." ;) For anybody who knows what i'm talking about, this song was used in that sequence. |
