this is definately a song about transitions that we all have to face in life!! he couldn't have said it any better.... "leaning on a broken fence btw past and present tense" awesome!! and "Circumnavigate this body of wonder and uncertainty. Armed with every previous failure, and amateur cartography" what a beautiful way of admitting mistakes we've all made in the past! this song is awesome. I can relate so easily to every word. |

The Strokes ROCK!! This song brings a smile to my face... in fact the whole album does... poeple who don't like The Strokes should!! And I think it is "MY EX SAYS..." instead of "MAYA SAYS" but don't take my word for it ...the lyrics aren't my favorite part of their songs. |

this song speaks to me. i could listen to it over and over. it's about young love and how inevitably you have to move on. it's for anyone who has been hurt and/or has hurt someone but remembering the good in what you shared with that person and learning from it. it's not a bitter song like most love torn tragedies that people often write songs about. i think it's a beautiful description of your first love. it's hard to move on after young love... it's important holding on to the lasting memories of being young and in love.. along with other human emotions because it's these experiences that will help mold us into who we will become... mature adult human beings. theres no other feeling like being burnt by your first flame and i think something corporate displayed beautiful imagery of the very thing that everyone experiences at least once, on some level, before they leave high school. i know i did i've been broken up with my x since i left to pursue my dreams about a year ago and when i heard this song it helped me understand i did what i had to do and what was right for me but i don't think i will ever forget MY "konstantine" either!! i wish i would have heard this song earlier |

What is wrong with you people? Why did it take ME to put these lyrics up. If any of these words are wrong feel free to edit please... and if anyone knows the words to SPLINTER put those up as well please :) I saw them live with Dashboard months ago and they were simply amazing. Pleasurehead is my all time fave Seafood song I love the smooth melodic sound of the guitar... I wish someone would sing that to me ahhhh |
