| to me, this song isn't just about abuse. i think that it is about sexual abuse inperticular. which is why it says "your hands coming down again." and "i close my eyes and brace myself. i only noticed your face." that also goes into why she doesn't want to talk about it in interviews because the shell being built is how she is somewhat ashamed with it and hasn't faced it completely. and maybe the part where she says "i'm done healing." isn't that shes finished, but that she tried it and couldn't deal with it, so she just hid it all away. | |
