I've always thought it was "...ashtray that sat at the foot of our bed" and "You said, 'Wear well those scars along your back.' You said, 'Wear well those scars along your arms,' but that's not all you said." I just think that "wear well" makes a lot more sense than "where and well." And I don't suppose anyone has figured out the very last bit in which Mat and Jenn sing simultaneously? It's incredibly beautiful and I would love to know the full phrases. I can pick out a few words, but never more than three or four in a row, and then only by Mat or Jenn -- not both. |
