Yeah, I definitely agree about the Wheatus connection... and it also kinda reminds me of the chorus of "I'm Crazy For This Girl" by Lifehouse. Great song though. :) I love this entire album! XD |

Okay, so right now I feel like I can relate to this song. There's this guy that I've been trying to get over and this song seems to fit so well with that. "too many hours in this midnight too many corners in my mind so much to do to set my heart right" From this I would say it means that every night seems like it's lasting forever because there is too much to think about. And there is a long way to go until you are over that person. "oh it's taking so long i could be wrong, i could be ready oh but if i take my heart's advice i should assume it's still unsteady i am in repair, i am in repair" This would be like second guessing yourself that you're over that person and you think you're ready to move on... but then you realize that you could be wrong and it's best to take it slow. "stood on the corner for a while to wait for the wind to blow down on me hoping it takes with it my old ways and brings some brand new look upon me" Wanting to get rid of the old ways that, such as the feelings you had for someone. "and now i'm walking in a park all of the birds they dance below me maybe when things turn green again it will be good to say you know me" This part I was kind of unsure about but I'm thinking maybe it's about when they're over that person. If they had contact with the person while they were getting over them, then maybe it would spark some old feelings. So, those 2 lines could mean: When I'm over you, then we can try being friends again. "I'm in repair, I'm not together but I'm getting there." This would be about them getting over the person and knowing they aren't fully there yet, but that they're getting there and they know they are accomplishing something. |

Definitely one of my all time favourite songs.. It has to be the best on the CD. I fall asleep to this song every night. And it definitely seems to have a calming affect on me. I can't wait for the new album to come out in September!!! |
