Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Fancy Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I think its about them becoming news for today, and trash for tomorrow. You can find it in the altlas (they are just a point) We read it for three days I guess means that after 3 days to "awesome" it soon turns to crap. (total guess) |

Stars – Calendar Girl Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Each day is worth it, even if it doesn't seem like it. Cross off the days, laugh at the crappy ones, cause soon you'll find something great! In this case, the beach. |

Morrissey – The Loop Lyrics | 16 years ago |

The Smiths – I Started Something I Couldn't Finish Lyrics | 16 years ago |
It doesn't HAVE to be homosexuality like what KainIIIC said. Its just the words "I love you" that matters. It seems that he (a person) is shy, thus telling the person when they're alone. However this could lead up to something awkward if the other doesn't feel the same. Once he said that, he kind of forced him to a zone (you just can't walk away from that): I forced you to a zone And you were clearly Never meant to go The other didn't feel the same way, so he kind of regretted what he said: I started something ...And now I'm not too sure He told his other. I guess its tradition (I grabbed you by the guilded beams) but found it vile after he realized it was his mistake: I grabbed you by the guilded beams Uh, that's what tradition means And I doused another venture With a gesture That was ... absolutely vile He wanted to take back (his words/gesture) and wanted to replace it with "never mind, thats vile!" "Seems ... fair enough" (fifth verse) Accepts his fault. It was typical of him to do that. " ...Do that again ?" It'll be typical of him to do it again. He really does love his other but is afraid of rejection, so its kind of a take back/nevermind/gross the word gesture. Don't take my word on this by the way... |
The Smiths – There Is a Light That Never Goes Out Lyrics | 16 years ago |
humorous but at the same time he writes what he speaks. I know someone who never wants to go home (sorry if you came across this) and would always want to stay out. I guess it really sucks at home. In reality though, the person will have to go back. Why not end it with someone you're in love with? |
The Smiths – Frankly, Mr. Shankly Lyrics | 16 years ago |
He words it so nicely but its so insulting...Last 3 words Frankly, Mr Shankly, I'm a sickening wreck I've got the 21st century breathing down my neck I must move fast, you understand me I guess he wants to get everything out in order to leave his job?... |
The Smiths – I Know It's Over Lyrics | 16 years ago |
And I know it's over still I cling I don't know where else I can go it's over, it's over, it's over He tells himself its over, because she's married. It's hard for him to let go because he see's that she's not in "love". She only "needs" to get married. But there's nothing else to do but say its over... |
The Smiths – Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Caligula is an emperor who killed his own men, practiced incest with his sisters and threw unnecessary parties. Show how Morrissey knows his history. Great line! |
