Miley Cyrus – The Climb Lyrics | 15 years ago |
This is one song that should be played at graduations but won't be because people don't like Miley much, like I didn't use to until she released this song, mainly, and a song or two on Breakout. People trash her, but she is going somewhere. She's ONLY 16, and most of the people don't like her are just that age- but think about it. She's 16, and already the biggest person out there. You don't like a rumor about you at school, but her, she's been criticized so much, had so many rumors spread about her, and people that follow her every day, every minute, just to try and tear her down. She's going far. This song is just amazing. Graduation song it should be. |
CocoRosie – Candy Land Lyrics | 15 years ago |
yep. exactly. |
Sarah Fimm – Orchids Lyrics | 15 years ago |
i agree. unrequited love. and "but on some planet, on some other moon / we bloom still" is like her saying in a fantasy, they're together. it is a beautiful song. very. |
Shannon Brown – Corn Fed Lyrics | 15 years ago |
My uncle went to school with her, and I used to live where she is from. It makes me proud to listen to someone that came from such a small town, make it, though not HUGE, she made it onto CMT. The song is self explanitory. Back in Spencer/Spriit Lake, Iowa, the place is small. Nobody is cussing at streetlights, burning flags, and it's most farmland. Anyhow, just listening to Shannon makes me happy, proud to be from that small town. |
Meg & Dia – Nineteen Stars Lyrics | 15 years ago |
the "nineteen stars" to me, like SirWinston, reminds me of making a wish or having luck, giving them hope, maybe. love the song, andmeg & dia, amazing artists. |
Ashlee Simpson – Never Dream Alone Lyrics | 15 years ago |
right, auberginedreams09. at first it reminded me of Twilight, but then i thought about it, and found little things when she sang that just didn't fir with my view of Twilight too well. i can't really get into Ashlee's new music, but hearing this song, so mellow, so sweet, makes me like Ashlee's work even more. some songs are alright on the new album, but this beats them all. |
Ryan Cabrera – On The Way Down Lyrics | 15 years ago |
right. the song never mentions God, and is left for interpretation. when i first heard it, it was just a song. that was a few years ago. but recently, i went through my old music, and lsitened to this song. and i related to it symbolizing God. i went though a lot of things in february, and i believe that God helped me out of it. He helped me up from the lowest point in my life, saved me. So, not matter who it is that helped you out, God, a friend, a family memeber, or a stranger, they helped you out. They saved you, if you went though some bad things. And it's just that. |
Sea Wolf – You're A Wolf Lyrics | 15 years ago |
i've loved sea wolf for a while, and i've always had a liking for this song- it's pretty, and makes me think of a movie i saw once but can't remeber the name. :) |
Sea Wolf – The Garden That You Planted Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i came across sea wolf about a year ago, i think, and this was the first song of theirs i had ever listened to. it's so beautiful, and placed such vivid pictures inside my head. it is still my favorite song by them. |
Britney Spears – Lucky Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i agree with crzyjen319. there's so many people who say they hate britney spears, blah blah blah. seriously, you don't know her. okay, she went through some things in the past few years, but do you know what she was thinking? what would you do if you had paparazzi trailing at your heels every second of the day, trying to catch you at your worst, most humiliating moment? |
Jump, Little Children – Close Your Eyes Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Tilly and the Wall – Fell Down the Stairs Lyrics | 16 years ago |
