what would be the point? they're in their 30s and have grown creatively and will obviously write about different more mature things. |

i think you just hate Miley Cyrus so much and love Billie Joe so much that its probably your fantasy that he'd write a song about how much he'd hate her too. but lets be honest, Miley Cyrus is very specific. and I doubt a 37 year old man would write about how much he doesnt like a 16 year old girl... |

yeah, i was forced to be confirmed and stuff, like i believe in God and stuff but yeah i'd rather not be forced. and when you're a baby you dont have a choice in the matter of being baptized. perhaps thats what inspired Billie when he went to his friend's baptism. |

This song is obviously about government, politics, etc, etc. as well as Billie Joe but i think every character that Billie Joe has come up with has come from himself and the people around me, so obviously each song is gonna seem to be about him because he writes the songs... |

SORRY but you say that all day they do is make "shitty CDs" and ont "donate". For you information, they do a lot more than make music. Billie Joe helped build homes for people who had lost them in the New Orleans flood. And I'm pretty sure thats not all he's done, and Green Day dont have the power to make that big a change, none of them are the president for fucks sake =/
Yeha they dont speak up at all? Green Day do nothing but speak up...
& excuse them for making money out of something they love to do. they're not going round to record companies like "hey give me a million dollars!" they work as well. yeah not the usual 9-5 job and maybe its not as shitty as a 9-5 job but some people follow their dreams more than others and turn out better. thats life. we cant have it all good, can we?

Yeah, Green Day are sell outs. Good one.
A sell out is someone who changes their original sound to suit the industry, & i really dont think Green Day have changed their sound like that at all. Yeah they've changed but people change as they get older and they've changed for the better and still incorporated a lot of their old sounds into their newer stuff. In my opinion, Green Day are one of the best bands in the world. They have important messages in their songs and they're not playing these songs to jump on a bandwagon, but because they really believe in the messages that they're putting out there. I think this could be their 3rd best album out of all the 10 or 11 they've made, and really sell outs are the last thing that Green Day are. |

yeah. i've noticed that a lot of the songs on the new album reminisce a lot of their old stuff which i think is on purpose. its pretty cool. but i love this song, especially at the last verse and the line, 'What's the latest way that a man can die
Screaming, "hallelujah"?' awesome.

is it just me or is the song very similar to Misery on the Warning album, except this is a lot faster, but its basically the same style and has a really similar tune. |

someone explain something to me. this album seems to take a lot of stabs at Christianity and seems to be saying that Christians are hypocrites, but isn't Billie Joe a tad bit religious himself? |

i like the new album but like its just another American Idiot in a way, with the story and the longish songs with a change of melody half way through. still, Green Day are epic. |
