i think PassionLife has got it down. it reminds me alot of when i first started coming out to the world about my own sexuality thats exacly how it feels. you find yourself wishing that it could be like all those other couple in the world and everyone saw it passionatly as you did. but knowing that the world won't jsut tell you its okay to be homosexual so you lie to yourself and everyone around you just to avoid all the uneeded judgements from the world. and at the same time you want so badly to just be passionate and live like everyother couple. its also waking up and finding youself denying that your homosexual and you like only the oppsite sex but your feelings for a member of the same sex is so strong you can't even deny it. |

I think it's about her feeling uneasy about a relationship. on one hand she doesnt want to be high strung and controlling, but on the other hand to it's hard to keep a relationship that is "too free". I think it also involves alot of wanting to know what the person on the other realtionship is doing or feeling, but not wanting to scare them away by asking too many questions. It's more of a "start of the relationship" song. where you try so hard to get it going steady, but don't know how well the other person in the relationship will handle it. so you constantly want to assure them that this is a relationship and you intend "this and that" for it, at the same time trying to compromise to their standards. parts of it also remind me of a relationship that's foundation was a friendship. it's almost like saying "we arent friends anymore, here i am, I'm yours. it's more then it used to be, and there are different things changing |
