I loved this song so much at one point; i hate it now because it perfectly describes where im at right now. My [ex]boyfriend and i went out for a year and a half and the breakup was messy. Im moving out of state 1000 miles away (for college) and this song just makes me think that things WONT be okay. I think this songs about a man not wanting his daughter to go down a wrong path or fall into any trouble in life (the ex. of the boys). Oooh to me this song feels like my relationship with my boyfriend lately, thats how i understand it. I can relate to this song in some way: "As angry as I sound that's just The way I cover up the way I feel I've been that way for years and years A slave to broken hearts and sex appeal" i think the person is angry alot because they have no other way of showing their feelings so it comes out as anger. thats what i do anyways haha. well that lines pretty ovious. but i also think the person in the song really IS angry and hates the other person & wishes they never met/got involved with them |
