Gregory and the Hawk – Isabelle Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Dude. Isabelle isn't dead. The stuff about ground and digging is the narrator digging herself deeper and deeper into a hole. Not literally. You know, falling for the guy that Isabelle loves. Digging her own grave, figuritively. |
Go Sailor – Last Year Lyrics | 16 years ago |
It's like this song was made for me. I started a relationship with someone in the midst of January one year. Think of it every January still. |
Bloc Party – Staying Fat Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I think it's a little bit of a slam to americans, the bit with pilgrims. We are the pilgrims, you know. |
Peachcake – I Fell In Love With You While Listening To My Favorite Morrissey Album Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I don't find it cute. But I like it. Fairly sure it's about desperately trying to catch someone's eye, though they are taken or out of your league. |
Gregory and the Hawk – I'm Your Puppet Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Pretty much everyone is right about this. It doesn't have to mean he's using her, just that she'd do anything for him and she doesn't like it. It's sad. It sucks. It's life. |

Tullycraft – Molly's Got a Crush on Us Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I've got a crush on Tullycraft. |
Tullycraft – Every Little Thing Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Why doesn't this song get more love? It's my favorite by Tullycraft. In general, Tullycraft needs more love. I'm pretty sure it's just about being so smitten with someone you want to save everything you can, write down every word they say for fear of forgetting it. I love the, "Despite my best attempts, I couldn't make you love me with a song." It's just perfect. |
Clear Static – She goes on Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is beautiful. It's obvious that it's about a relationship that, for one reason or another, was not totally healthy. And it was better to leave it behind. |
Bedlight for Blue Eyes – Reciprocal Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I once knew a boy like this. Then he became a worse version of me and it was like we switched personalities. |

Rocketship – I Love You Like The Way That I Used To Do Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Lyrics might be wrong, I couldn't find them anywhere else so I typed them as I heard them. |
Farewell – Zelda Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I just listened to this song for the first time. |
The Vaselines – Son Of A Gun Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I love this song so much. :] On the back of The Vaselines: A Complete History, underneath the title 'Son of A Gun', it says something like: "Young love and shooting your gun." I think the title alludes to a love being born out heroine, either loving heroine immensely and everything being good with it or not with it. [[Same with any drug.]] Or falling for someone when you are under the influence of it. |
1997 – Garden of Evil Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Though I agree with 21stars, I think the parts that are talking about turning the lights off/on are maybe sexual. Not in a perverted way, but as in this ex that he is still in love with was his first, or at least the first that meant anything to him, and having sexual relations with anyone else feels strange. I'm not sure if I explained what was on my mind right, but, uhh, I think you get it :] |
