I love this song, it's seriously one of my favorites on In Defense of the Genre. I think this song has a few meanings, it's really just about how you interpret it. I though a bit diferently then what everyone else did though. I figured this song was about a slutty girl who treated Max like crap because he was jewish. Being a christian, I know how hard it can be to be honest about your religion because people mistreat you and steryotype you. I'd say it's worse for jews then christians though, because of all stupid racist/religious jokes people make up. Here's a line for line interpretation: Pay your respects to a greater intellect [kind of self explanatory, pay respect to god even if you don't believe in him] You're just a pawn, does this confession turn you on? [he's mocking her, he knows she thinks he's stupid since he's jewish, but he also knows that she's a slut] I know your kind; you'd do me from behind [well, I'm pretty sure he's not talking about anal rape lol. I think he's saying that he knows girls like her who wants to sleep with him before they even know eachother, I think that's what he means by from behind] And when everybody stares, their eyes will bare the sharpest glare [Not so sure about this line] Everybody knows beneath your clothes Staring at your toes is just a pose [She's acting innocent, but really she's just a slut] Everybody good knows how hard you blow Everybody knows [haha I love this line, self explanatory] You did me wrong, I grinned and played along [She treated him wrong but he just pretended like it didn't bother him] Those days are gone, does this confession turn you on?
