I'm 3 months shy of 34 and I have to say...I am verrry pleased to see you guys having an appreciation for great music and Dire Straits at that. The one thing about the band I remember best is when MTV had music videos and Dire Straits' "Money For Nothing" breakthrough video debuted. If I can add my input without rambling I believe his reference to "lastest trick" could be jealousy he has directed to a prostitute he has fallen for and her next john. Classic story. Also the night life may represent the emptiness he feels he sees her with her "tricks". That's just my 2 cents. |
