jimmyfranklin, this song's been available online in various incarnations for ages; i'm pretty sure he wrote it before Show Your Bones came out (plus, the yyys are not above the occasional plagiarism themselves- e.g. 'Gold Lion'...). I think this version just stresses that melody a lot more, kind of like how the Blinding version of 'Love You But You're Green' came out sounding exactly like fucking 'Brown Eyed Girl.' Good artists borrow and great ones steal, I guess. Class track anyway. |
