Radiohead – Motion Picture Soundtrack (Kid A version) Lyrics 16 years ago
I'm glad someone sees Kid A the same way I do, Hungryforalynchin. Kid A might be the most important album of my life. It opened my eyes in a way to a frightening world.

This song is about suicide, pure and simple. I love how the ending of Kid A can fit perfectly into the beginning of Amnesiac, Packt Like Sardines being the "afterlife". ("After years of waiting, nothing came and you realize you've been looking in the wrong place")

Fuck, goddamn you Thom Yorke. You make me jealous.

Okkervil River – The Next Four Months Lyrics 16 years ago
To me, this song seems like it talks about adultery. The line that proves it quite well is the following: "We’re driving down the interstate,
you’re feeling great,
you scratch your wrist,
and we pretend your kids,
your husband, all you left does not exist.
And in some motel that night we’re lying,"

Both of them feel like shit and is probably the reason why they started having the affair, and that's where the medical theme comes in. It might be a reference to drugs, but what is for sure is that they're doing it to forget the fact they are in the biggest shit situation of their lives.

Curious how Get Big is also about adultery, but from the viewpoint of the one who was betrayed rather than the cheater. This is most likely the same triangle of love that Next Four Months portrays. God, do I love Okkervil River.

Patrick Wolf – London Lyrics 16 years ago
No. Just...no. The song is about leaving London and starting a new life. Paris is its direct sequel.
"It was seven in the morning when the spark
began to give. the bath was spilling over, my
self pity spilling with it, so i, i fled the country
to start it all again and found myself in paris in
the cemetery rain."

It's that simple.

Radiohead – Nude Lyrics 16 years ago
This song used to be called "Big Ideas (Don't Get Any)" (ha, my username ha). In this version, the lyrics had these extra lines: "She stands stark naked and she beckons you to bed
don't go, you'll only want to come back again". This makes it pretty clear that it's about adultery, but it might be more than just that. This is such a great song.
