Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros – Love Kills Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Is there really an uncensored version of this song where he says "motherfucker"? I can definitely hear the "you evil mother...", so I can see how that line can rhyme with the next in an uncensored version. If there is an uncensored version, can anyone tell me where I can find it? |
Motion City Soundtrack – A Life Less Ordinary (Need a Little Help) Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Here's some corrected/re-organized lyrics: I didn't think I would make it Thought everybody was against me All those conquered eyes and Christmases alone I never gave an honest answer But I need a lot of angry organs Are we copacetic? Are we behaving now? Filling up on endless enzymes From other people's ugly insides All this bitterness is starting to grow cold Accompanies an empty evening Hanging onto complications Sometimes quick sand has a massive appeal to me I want to be somewhere else I think I can figure it out But I'm gonna need a little help to get me Need a little help to get me I think I can figure it out But I'm gonna need a little help to get me through it To get me through it I always knew I had the answer But I never understood the question Indoor living, lacerated to the bone And now we've realigned the edges I’m doing very well, I thank you All this empathy is starting to wear me down I wish I was someone else I think I can figure it out But I'm gonna need a little help to get me Need a little help to get me I think I can figure it out But I'm gonna need a little help to get me through it To get me through it I'll try to work this out I'll try to get it on I like to tell you that I'm ready For whatever's coming But to be honest there's a part of me That loses control I think I can figure it out But I'm gonna need a little help to get me Need a little help to get me I think I can figure it out But I'm gonna need a little help to get me Need a little help to get me I think I can figure it out But I'm gonna need a little help to get me Need a little help to get me Need a little help to get me Need a little help to get me through it |
Green Day – 21st Century Breakdown Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Obviously, most of the lyrics are based on Bille Joe's life growing up. He was born in 1972, the year Nixon was elected (Born into Nixon, I was raised in Hell). He grew up in the slums of the Bay Area, so they didn't have a lot of money (A welfare child), and his dad was a truck driver, which are also called "teamsters" (where the teamsters dwelled). He was the youngest child (The last one born and the first one to run). The town in which he lived, Rodeo, was a huge refinery area (My town was blind from refinery sun). |
Motion City Soundtrack – Disappear Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I corrected some of it: To the deep end, to the heart line Hold it straight together, man Hold it straight together, if you can Little fevers wrapped in medication All strung out on novelty Collapse yourself and try to comprehend An angry island, a bitter bee sting Severing and shattering Free the self and fix the between It's isolation, mark the earth around you Guess who's on the waiting list? I'll let you in on something secret I can disappear Anytime I want to, time I feel you Shuffle through my skin I am with you til the end First you breathe out, then you have to breathe in Lash yourself repeatedly Until it sticks, until it sticks Under the eyelids, carry on cadaver Festering interiors All hollow breach and vapor silhouette Need medication, more medication Coursing through your interstates All mad and great, confused and counterfeit Kamikaze, sear the blood inside me Guess who's got it figured out? I'll let you in on something secret I can disappear Anytime I want to, time I feel you Shuffle through my skin I am with you til the end And I can decompose When it suits me, I accelerate it Wicked on all fours, I surrender to the storm You'll never know how it feels You'll never know how it feels Can you feel it? Can you feel it? I can disappear Anytime I want to, time I feel you Shuffle through my skin I am with you til the end And I can decompose When it suits me, I accelerate it Wicked on all fours, I surrender to the storm And I can disappear Anytime I want to, time I feel you Shuffle through my skin I am with you til the end I am with you til the end |

Billy Talent – Rusted From The Rain Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I corrected some of the lyrics: I stumble through the wreckage, rusted from the rain There's nothing left to salvage, no one left to blame Among the broken mirrors, I don't look the same I'm rusted from the rain, I'm rusted from the rain Dissect me until my blood runs down into the drain My bitter heart is pumping oil into my veins I'm nothing but a tin man, don't feel any pain I don't feel any pain, I don't feel any pain I'm rusted from the rain Go on crush me like a flower, rusted from the rain Come on, strip me of my power, beat me with your chains And if I'm the king of cowards, you're the queen of pain I'm rusted from the rain, I'm rusted from the rain You hung me like a picture, now I'm just a frame I used to be your lap dog, now I'm just a stray Shackled in a graveyard, left here to decay Left here to decay, left here to decay I'm rusted from the rain Go on crush me like a flower, rusted from the rain Come on, strip me of my power, beat me with your chains And if I'm the king of cowards, you're the queen of pain I'm rusted from the rain, I'm rusted from the rain I'm rusted from the rain Go on crush me like a flower, rusted from the rain Come on, strip me of my power, beat me with your chains And if I'm the king of cowards, you're the queen of pain I'm rusted from the rain, I'm rusted from the rain Go on crush me like a flower, rusted from the rain Come on, strip me of my power, beat me with your chains And if I'm the king of cowards, you're the queen of pain I'm rusted from the rain, I'm rusted from the rain The sun will shine again, I'm rusted from the rain I'm rusted from the rain, the sun will shine again I'm rusted from the rain |

Zebrahead – The Juggernauts Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Here are the correct lyrics from the booklet Watching anvils falling all around And they break our bones when they hit the ground The siren screams without a sound So we numb ourselves with drink and drown Got to clock in, bar code and name Zeros and ones compose the game And the roof's on fire but stops the rain So clench your fist enjoy the pain Think back to the ways of yesterdays The "I" in team raised renegades In punk rock clubs and razorblades Where throwaway kids scream serenades We lost control again We lost control again We lost control Gotta find a way to make amends, Rewrite the end , Take back what time has stole We are the angry The innocent We are the hungry The discontent We are the marquee The one percent We are the bourgeoisie of arguments Dropping down a well that time forgot With scars that show that we care a lot In the sky we dreamt like a juggernaut Of the things we'd do and what we sought but One by one we fall the same How much to lose, not much to gain So have your hope hop another train and Bleach yourslef but the stain remains Think back to the ways of yesterdays When we never even had to get paid to play Had a backpack filled with things to say But the words have all been thrown away We lost control again We lost control again We lost control Gotta find a way to make amends, Rewrite the end, Take back what time has stole We are the angry The innocent We are the hungry The discontent We are the marquee The one percent We are the bourgeoisie of arguments We won't wait We're the lost but we're found We can't wait Alarms are calling We won't wait We're not the fallen The underground, you won't recognize us now We are the angry The innocent We are the hungry The discontent We are the marquee The one percent We are the bourgeoisie of arguments We lost control again We lost control again We lost control Got a lost hope requiem And we're wreckin' 'em There's no use settling So when will all the waiting end? If we don't pretend like a shot gun awakening To blow off the pinned-down limb, Shed your skin cause they is shuddering So tie off the bleeding end and start again The streets are barreling With no reason to reinvent our discontent The sound grows deafening We want control again We want control again We want control Gotta find a way to make amends, Rewrite the end, Take back what time has stole We are the angry The innocent We are the hungry The discontent We are the marquee The one percent We are the bourgeoisie of arguments We won't wait We're the lost but we're found We can't wait Alarms are calling We won't wait We're not the fallen The underground, you won't recognize us now We are the angry The innocent We are the hungry The discontent We are the marquee The one percent We are the bourgeoisie of arguments We want control again We want control again We want control The underground, you won't recognize us now We want control again We want control again We want control The underground, you won't recognize us now |
