i think its indeed about celebrities and how they affect normal people with their image.
the rap artist Apathy pushes it into the celebrity meaning in his remake (not a cover, a remake) how hollywood people can think they are so much better than people actually working for their money.
note: rap with meaning and not played on the radio is the only rap i listen to. radio rap/hiphop irratates me |
