I don't really think he is either singing to God, or some girl.. I think it is more of an question to his surrondings.. Like when you feel lost or something you kind a ask yourself (or nobody in peticular) to show you the way.. He is looking for something or someone to believe in.. Trying to make sense out of things.. And "the oh lord" phrase, I don't think its supposed to be interpreteded so literal... But that's just my opinion.. |

I just heard this song, and i absolutely love it.. I think it's so beautiful... Well, I think the song basically describes it self.. Just about you love somebody so much that you need that person like you need basic things in life.. Yeah, this song is fantastic.. And of course she should write about it (read. Joe Jonas).. Thats what all great musicians do, they write about their own experiences, and if getting dumped over the phone in 27 seconds is not an experince I don't know what is.. She is just dealing with her emotions in the best way she knows.. And if he felt anything, then he could write what he is feeling.. But I most say that I was expecting a more "aggressive" song, "like picture to burn" or something.. This one more bitter-sweet.. But I still love it.. :-) |

I like this song.. I can agree on its pretty simple written, but then again she was 15 when she wrote it, and it is for people at the same age... Should she be singing about gas prices, or polution from factories, that would be stupid, since none of her audience can do nothing about that.. And btw, (fhcxc2010) what the hell do you know about "most parents don't let their kids listen to her"? If I'm not mistaken her popularity, earnings, sold albums, tickets etc. haven't declined a bit.. So I really don't think her pictures or who she is dating really is effecten her in the fan section.. For every fan that slips away, two new come a long.. :) |

I know that I'm gonna get slammed for mentioning this, but I'm gonna say it anyway.. :-) I was listening to Miley Cyrus albym "Breakout" and I noticed the most of her songs on the album where about breakups, where her heart has been broken by an ex-boyfriend, and when I listened to Jonas Brothers album, "A little bit longer" the most of the songs are about being sorry, for what they had to do or whatever.. Both Albums came out in 2008, and it sounds like they are telling (Singing) their side of the story.. :-) Is it a coincidend or maybe, and just maybe their (Miley & Nick) albums or mostly about each other..? |

I love her songs, well basically her entire album, "Breakout".. Her songs are very well written for a 16 year old... But I noticed the most of her songs on her Breakout album are about breakups, where her heart has been broken by an ex-boyfriend, and when I listened to Jonas Brothers album, "A little bit longer" the most of the songs are about being sorry, for what they had to do or whatever..
