Koop – Relaxin' at the Club Fucking Lyrics

Errr, I don't think the F word refers to f*cking but to fusion instead. At least it says so in this interview.

Wow, did anyone see the video? It was totally creepy and cast the song in an interesting light. |

Man, this song sounds really cool and cute. The first part of it reminds me of some of those old rpg games where there were a bunch of say, monsters bouncing around. That part sounded like some old rpg game music, too. :P |

Menomena – The Monkey's Back Lyrics

Yeah... it sure sounded like "De-ar wife" but ... I think "try" fits the context better.
Btw, I really liked the "special effects" at the end of this song. It sounded soo... strange and mysterious, like some special ceremony at some cult thing. =D
Like... the poor sod got bitten by the monkey and bam... Zombie rising!!! Then dun... dun... dun!!!!
I wish I knew what they were singing, though. |

Menomena – Ghostship Lyrics

Hmmm... doesn't ghostship refer to a ship with skeletal crew? As in: ships lost at sea which spend eternity drifting aimlessly, with a skeletal crew who pine forever for their families, their loved ones? |

I totally love the piano in this song and her vocals. Btw, I heard some other instrument in this song: sounded like an erhu or something else? |

Menomena – West Lyrics

Errr I meant "writing songs about your devout faith in Christianity and praising Christianity" since those 2 are so often intertwined. |

Menomena – West Lyrics

Well, I wouldn't totally define them as Christian. After all, there's a huge difference between writing songs about your devout Christian faith and songs that talk about the transition of your beliefs from one point in the religious spectrum to another.
Man, I totally love this album 'cos it partially describes some of my feelings: I grew up quite Christian too and later on, fell out 'cos I was so tired of the whole Christian religion. |

Menomena – My My Lyrics

Hmmm... if the "who would I dump" part was accurate, the song sounds like it's about some really jaded and perhaps jilted man regretting that his existence revolves around his pain and hatred.
And using pain and hatred(his "ghosts") as a justification, he severes his relations with others constantly or basically, he keeps trying to hurt the ones who care for him. |
