I think this song is about prostituting yourself (both literaly and figuratively) in order to achieve fame. Adam Green doesn't do that, which is why he's so very spectacular, and also why he's not big on the radio. And I agree with the last comment...dude's got balls. |

I have always thought this song was about religion. I also have a sneaking suspicion that the carpenter mentioned is a reference to Jesus, but i'm not exactly sure how that ties in.
Cake is one of the most badass bands there is. Shut up about Brand New and Taking Back Sunday. They are nothing compared to Cake, and have nothing to do with this discussion. |
