Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds – Where the Wild Roses Grow (feat. Kylie Minogue) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I thought exactly the same thing about the newspaper headline!!! I don't think she really understands that she's dead. Might be wrong, but that's just the way it came across to me... |

Gorillaz – 5/4 Lyrics | 16 years ago |
yeah, the title is about the time signature. as for the song....i think the book pretty much explains it. i love that it's in 5/4 time, showing Damon Albarn's musical genius :) |
Robots in Disguise – 50 Minutes Lyrics | 16 years ago |
well it's actually like 5 years, 50 minutes cause there's 52 weeks in a year, so it confuses me as to why they would bother saying 52 weeks 4 years. anyone? |
Utada Hikaru – Simple And Clean Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Crash Test Dummies – Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm Lyrics | 17 years ago |
i never thought of this song being about child abuse until i read the comments on here. but i still don't think it is. i agree with the people saying that it is about the boy having embarrasing parents being 'worse' than the other two kids. because there was nothing he could do about it. the other kids could hide what had happened to them, as someone said, hair dye and long-sleeved clothes. but he couldn't. i think he felt completely alienated from everyone at school because he wasn't given the same freedom as the rest of them. it's definitely a sad song. i agree that the band might be having a dig at organised religion, but i still think it's sad. i love it anyway, no matter what it's about. |
