you heard the yelling during the lollapalooza videos? i read somewhere that during lollapalooza jesse was yelling at a bunch of rage against the machine fans because they were camping out by where brand new was playing and not listening to them play and he was yelling at them to go watch explosions in the sky instead, i dunno though, it could be new lyrics. the only time i heard this it was solo and he said it wasn't done yet. |

i like the demo version a little better (with the sorta different lyrics and such) but the out of the vein version is pretty bitchin' too. i think it's about an actual person dying rather than a death of innocence and youth, though when a good friend dies it can mean all 3. i thought maybe annie was this person's sister and she was all bummed 'cos they couldn't see her grow up and get married and such. |

i never really understood why anyone thought the beatles were all that good...i listen to the beatles occasionally but i think there are a lot of bands that are better than them. oasis included. and in response to ashowofhands...you're sorta gay for coming here to trash oasis. i hate boys like girls a lot but i don't go over to their lyrics and say their singer should shut his faggothole...mostly because i dunno what a faggothole really is...guess i just haven't been downtown lately. good song though. i think it's sort of about how when you're down and feel like shit someone's there to pick you up and help you through the shit and how you're thankful for it but just sorta lost for words 'cos of how much they helped you. |

I'm not really sure what this song is about but i always thought that maybe he had a certain amount of room in him for a certain number of accidents and then he meets this girl and by the time he gets to her he's out of accidents and he's trying to make it work but it's confusing and he doesn't know how to sustain it but i dunno |

I think this song might be about friendship I never thought of that even though it seems so simple. But what i got out of it is theres this guy and he wonders why his (possibly) girlfriend always puts up with him even though he acts like an idiot and how he thinks shes special. I got that cos if you look at the first part

I've listened to this song almost everyday for the last two or three years and it never gets old. I think the first verse is so perfect. But i think this song is about a couple who are about to get married but then they think about their future and how it wouldnt lead anywhere and probably end in divorce and their kids are just gunna blame themselves for the marriage not working out. |

I think of every stupid argument I've seen on this site, with people arguing about stuff that doesnt even relate to the song, this would be the dumbest. Honestly, my opinion would be SHUT UP. Comment on the song I don't care if you say you like the song a lot its when people say people are homophobes cos they dont agree with you. Also Guns N' Roses were a band that fought against AIDS not because they were gay or anything but because they thought it was an awful disease that shouldn't kill as many people. In other words they didn't want it to become some wipespread epidemic.
Anyway I think this song is about this guy telling some woman (maybe a prostitute) that hes not as dumb as he might seem and how he does know what hes talking about when he says he loves her but shes a prostitute (possibly) and doesnt think that he really knows what hes talking about. Finally he tries to prove to her that he really does love her with the last verse Dont ever leave me/ Say you'll always be there/ All I ever wanted was for you/ To know that i care make me think that hes trying to prove his love to her. |

This song is DEFINITELY about sex. I read an interview where Marc Bolan was talking about this song and he said that it basically came out of him wanting to cover Little Queenie by Chuck Berry but the band didnt go for it so he wrote this song and used a couple of lyrics and phrases from that song to get this. But T. Rex are amazing more people should listen to them. |
