The version of the song i have has Justin saying that the song was "sponsored" by 9/11. He thought what it would have been like to have been the family member of someone who died that day and not getting to say "i love you" one last time. Certainly adds to the effect. |

hmmm... well... I think its about awkward social situations and not always knowing what to say. Then when you have time to think about it, you feel dumb for not saying something or saying the wrong thing. Of course, this coupled with drugs. Justin was seriously fucked up at one point. |

OK WTF PEOPLE!?!?! does no one like "The Answers"? This is the best song on the whole thing and the live versions are unbelievable. The song is simple. Its about his family that he seems estranged from but he still loves nonetheless and still turns to them for support. Im thinking he might not like his stepmom....lol |
