I didn't know this was one of the last songs he did. How, symbolic...maybe. Who really knows, eh? I love this song...I haven't heard the CS version yet, and I'm not sure I want to; I'm predisposed to be partial to Elliott Smith's version anyway. |

This is a great song, I wish it was appreciated more. I think this is when Elliott was in his down time, feeling rejected, out of place, and alone. Thinking that everything he could possibly do would be wrong and he would still be alone at the end of the day. |
