I'm becoming strangly in love with this song, I have no idea why, it's just so catchy =D I'll tell you one thing, Dave is an amazing person to me. His lyrics are thoughtfilling and interesting. He really knows how to get to your heart. This song makes me feel horrible for people on ice. It's there fault they started, but still, it's sad. |

I think there's a lot more to the song. I think this song looks into the past at all the horrible things that have happened to us (WW1, WW2, etc.) and then looks into the future asking 'Has anything really changed? Has it really? Or are we just telling ourselves that?'. 'The quiet war has begun with silent weapons' That sounds like the Cold War. Anyway... This song is awesome! It just makes me want to jump up and start head banging! |

This is the first song that I heard by Megadeth. I fell in love with this song and now Megadeth is my favorite band. I believe this is about how in Medieval times, relatives would kill off family members to be king, only to be killed by another family member who wanted the throne just as much. |
