I really do like this song. I find it sounds similar to What I've Done almost as its a sequel to that song, which is fitting in my opinion. I really do like this song and cant wait for chester's side project as well as the new album next year. |

This song could also just be about giving into the power of the night. Like a person is being tempted to and is torn about becoming a vampire/lycanthrope. This is probably a quest for revenge for some wrong commited and the one who suffered is being told that they can have power beyond containing if they give into the power that comes with the night and being a creature assosiated with it.
Though I agree about the conformity issue being what the song is about I just thought I'd give another possible meaning ^^ |

It is definatly about the war. I heard a long time ago I heard that the troops play Disturbed to get psyched up before going into battle and David takes that to heart. I think every album has songs made for the soldiers and this one is the tribute to them. Disturbed is one of the best bands for USO and troop activies. They dont support the war but want the soldiers to come home and if their music can make them stronger to get this war over with then they will make it. |

I may not know what this song means I just know thats its great. I especially love that piano counter-melody that runs through the song. Too bad these guys arent coming around here any time soon. I would love to see them live |
