All Get Out – Water and God Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Best song they have so far, in my opinion. :] They're all really good though. |
Drop Dead, Gorgeous – (The) Internet Killed the Video Star Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Brilliant. |
Drop Dead, Gorgeous – Southern Lovin' [Belle of the Ball] Lyrics | 15 years ago |
I'm with Beaky on that. The last album didn't catch on. But this one is amazing. The song is obvious what it's about, haha. |
The Sophomore Attempt – Oh, Glorious Shipwreck Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Amazing song, TSE need to make an actual full length. |
Between the Trees – We Can Try Lyrics | 15 years ago |

A Skylit Drive – City On The Edge Of Forever Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Jag's vocal range is just so awesome. I've never played any FF games, so I take this as a real-life meaning, haha. |
Gwen Stacy – I Was Born With Two First Names Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Seeing these guys tomorrow. :] |
The Last Great Bridge Jumper – Breaking News Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Okay, I'm gonna give the song meaning from my perspective: This band is definitely Christian-based as you can tell from the lyrics. "Run, just run Leave, save yourself I'm not about to close my eyes And find my way through this Watch, now, the return" This is saying, "Hey look, I'm not the best thing for you. I can't even find my OWN way through this." And then he implies the return of God will be the only way to make things better. "Go, just go Please don't stay It's all come back, it all came back Did it ever really leave? I lost my peace when I gave up" Same thing as the first part. This time, he's wondering if the feeling of being so alone ever actually went away when he was with the girl. And while he was with the girl, he gave up on all faith in God. "This is bigger than all of us Just move, pick up your feet Oh!" Self explanatory. There's something a lot bigger than us, and everything will work out if you just keep your faith. "This self-sufficient sacrifice Pulling the base away I think there's something stuck In your eye Now we're all falling down Everything is opposite" He's made sacrifices only to benefit himself, and in the end, it only led him further away. He then goes on to say, "don't accuse me of anything, because you do the same, if not worse." [That's based on a bible verse, if you don't understand.] Then, he says we're all gonna face the same thing, what we thought was good is actually bad. "It's just not what it seems It's just not what it seems It looks like we found the wrong keystone Was there no progress made? No, there's no progress made!" Again, everything is different. He thought he found the key to making things better, but it wasn't the right thing at all. And now he's gotten nowhere. "Put your stock in abandonment You can't be lost if you're already gone" He's saying if you put your faith in things here on earth, you'll be left feeling empty and abandoned. Now, granted I'm in this band, so I've got some insight, haha. |
Attila – Soda In The Water Cup Lyrics | 15 years ago |
They've got talent though. Their lead guitarist is only 16 and plays stuff that older guitarists can't. I agree that the lyrics are pretty lame and immature. But TAS did it and got famous. One of Emmure's most famous songs is about crying to a Bayside CD, as well. I support local music, even if it's bad music. Because it's music. Just because I don't like it doesn't mean that no one else likes them either. But your opinion is your opinion, and I respect that. I hate when people diss on other people's opinions just because they disagree. And I do hate that the band got famous because of MTV. :/ |
Family Force 5 – Kountry Gentleman Lyrics | 15 years ago |
Yeahh, I'm from these guys' hometown. That's what's up. :] And they are big, haha. |
Boys Night Out – Waking Lyrics | 15 years ago |
This concept album reminds me of Senses Fail's album Still Searching. Hmm. |
Attila – Soda In The Water Cup Lyrics | 15 years ago |

Bring Me the Horizon – The Sadness Will Never End (feat. Sam Carter) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
definitely not like old BMTH. but so awesome. i bet they're gonna get crap for this, but i love it. bands are allowed to change their sound. but as for the meaning, i think it's pretty self-explanatory. |
Escape the Fate – Ashley Lyrics | 15 years ago |
definitely not the best on the new album, but still good. craig mabbit, ftw. |
The Acacia Strain – Forget-Me-Now Lyrics | 15 years ago |
im a surgeon, im a poet, im the last thing you see before you die... does anyone else think that's fucking catchy as hell? |
The Acacia Strain – Skynet Lyrics | 15 years ago |
i still dont see how emmure sounds anything like the acacia strain. but it's all cool. i love both bands. |
Hey Monday – How You Love Me Now Lyrics | 15 years ago |
what's with all the paramore comparisons? just because they've got a female vocalist in a pop punk band. anyways, i think this band is gonna go pretty far :D |
Underoath – The Only Survivor Was Miraculously Unharmed Lyrics | 15 years ago |
amen linkD3 haha :] |
Underoath – Emergency Broadcast :: The End Is Near Lyrics | 15 years ago |
i agree with flyingclubcup. mankind never seems to be able to fix its problems we only make it worse sad but true :/ amazing song. |
Underoath – A Fault Line, A Fault of Mine Lyrics | 15 years ago |
"i was lying when i said i was looking north. i was too scared to show what i am" the whole song can be summed up with that through spencer's problems lately, he kept telling everyone that he was looking up, and things were getting better. but he knew they really werent. then finally, he's like "this is defeat." kind of a sad ending, but i think the whole album is a concept of him getting over it all. :] |
Underoath – Anyone Can Dig A Hole But It Takes A Real Man To Call It Home Lyrics | 15 years ago |
maybe people looked to him (spencer) for answers because he always seemed to be so in tune with his life. but he's letting them know, "i'm just leading you further from what you need" possibly with his addictions and everything. and at the end he's asking himself, "should i keep on like this? not only have i hurt myself, but also others." and then he asks God to forgive him, which shows that he wants to be given another chance. |
Underoath – Breathing in a New Mentality Lyrics | 15 years ago |
all i can say about this song and the whole new album in general is OH MY GOD. these guys keep getting better. this song is most likely about his addictions taking hold of him, like circus said. and how he wants God to clean him of it all. |
The Academy Is... – The Test Lyrics | 15 years ago |
"you're a stranger i know well, and not at all" amazing line. i think this song is about finding something out about someone you thought you know so well. a friend, or girlfriend. but then there's the underlying sexual themes, as well. so im not so suree :/ |
The Academy Is... – Summer Hair = Forever Young Lyrics | 15 years ago |
i agree with auberginedreams09 on the we the kings thing but the new album is so amazinggg :] and i pretty much agree with everyone else's idea on this song. |

Beneath the Sky – The Reason Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i agree with shadow. haha. but this song makes me respect them a lot more. |
Beneath the Sky – For Each Remembered Name Lyrics | 16 years ago |
possibly a shoutout to everyone in his life that has helped him get to where he is now? or just one person in general. that's what i get from it. |
Beneath the Sky – Goodfellas Lyrics | 16 years ago |
ehh, i get the idea that their saying you spend your whole life believing in something that doesn't exist because others force it onto you, and in the end, you get what you deserve. =/ idk though. haha |
Spitalfield – Lasting First Impression Lyrics | 17 years ago |
is it just me, or are a lot of their songs about the "scene" style that's going on nowadays?? ehh, idk fer sure. |
