Helloween – You Always Walk Alone Lyrics 15 years ago
I think it's mostly about Helloween and heavy metal musicians in general, hoy they play what they like, live like they like, but they've had to fight to be able to do so.

Bad Religion – 52 Seconds Lyrics 15 years ago
I'm a monkey with a madding affliction
With fact checking for a mental condition

This is in fact mocking the anti-evolutionists (creationists mostly, mayve intelligent design believers as well).

he's a monkey, meaning that us humans evolved from monkeys, evolutions....and he has a madding affliction, a mental condition, which is fact checking, since anti-evolutionists don't pay attention to facts (most of them at least), so they see him as crazy or as a bad person.

Iron Maiden – Don't Look To The Eyes Of A Stranger Lyrics 15 years ago
Yeah, it's basically about a stalker, rapist, etc. that might be stalking or looking for people to attack...or about the fear of not knowing whom around you might be a stalker, rapist, etc....kind of like the song, although just like The Clansman, they could've shortened the song and it'd be much better since it gets pretty repetitive.

Iron Maiden – When Two Worlds Collide Lyrics 15 years ago
Sorry about the repeat...anyways, I also wanted to comment that Blaze is a pretty good singer, he just has an obviously lower vocal range than Bruce, Bruce in fact probably has problems singing some of Blaze's songs, which doesn't matter since most people don't want to listen to them (even if in the Blaze era they made many superb songs). Guess people just are closed to a little change. Virtual XI nevertheless isn't a good album, The X Factor is.

Iron Maiden – When Two Worlds Collide Lyrics 15 years ago
Yup, most definitely about Earth being hit by a meteor, comet, asteroid, planet (not probable), etc. Don't think it really has the meaning Nemy gave it (of course you can give a song any meaning you want), but it just doesn't sound like it, besides, the Crusades were most definitely not between Catholics and Protestants but between Catholics and Muslims.

Megadeth – Youthanasia Lyrics 15 years ago
Pretty much what Motorhead said.

But also, our parents, grandparents and other ancestors made the world what it is today (which isn't good), and they're the ones teaching us how to live, so how much hope can we really have? We can't follow the steps they dictate if we want to see any progress.

Stratovarius – Future Shock Lyrics 15 years ago
Well, about the borrowed lines, I don't think they intended it to copy Black Sabbath, but more to continue the story. At least that's how I like to see it.

Iron Maiden – The Clansman Lyrics 15 years ago
Wow Riley28...actually thinking this was first sung by Di 'Anno...guess it's you who should clean off the wax out of your ears. Anyways, this is an awesome song, which needs no more than what has already been said, FREEDOM. Blaze was awesome, even if I don't regret Maiden getting back with Bruce.

Self-explanatory....awesome song. One of the best on Gambling with the Devil.

Helloween – Final Fortune Lyrics 15 years ago
Yesh, it's a song about God, which is what Gambling with the Devil seems to revolve around, religion. They're very Catholic, just listen to Lavdate Dominvm.

Dead Kennedys – Chicken Farm Lyrics 16 years ago
Yup, everyone got it clearly in my opinion. It can be related to most immigrants though, even if it was written thinking about Vietnamese and Cambodian people. Immigrants most of the time know they'll have a hard time in their new country, sometimes not even knowing the language, but it'll be many times better than their past conditions. Those conditions in this case are exquisitely described in this song.

Bad Religion – Germs of Perfection Lyrics 16 years ago
What I get from this song is how lab-made germs can be used for good and bad purposes (war and soil-enrichment specifically). And then how many are afraid of using man-made germs because they're not created by nature/God, so they could cause disease or other problems.

Helloween – Perfect Gentleman Lyrics 16 years ago
Wow! Not a single comment in this song. This is one of my Helloween favorites. A guy is bragging about how he can get any girl, that he's a stud and tries to seduce a girl but (according to the video) fails miserably. Similar to Mr. Ego in the theme. Great CD, start of a new era (and greater in my opinion, even if they never got as famous as they did with Kiske and Kai).

Helloween – Don't Stop Being Crazy Lyrics 16 years ago
I think it's simply someone telling his/her beloved one to never change, that everyone might call him/her crazy but in the end, who cares? If they judge him/her then they're not worth it.
