ok so consider this... im pretty sure everyone can get what the meanings further in the song mean, but i was wondering about the first few lines and im thinking maybe its something along the lines of "i was married in the sun" like the reference to nature is a metephor for how natural and normal their love for each other is "against the stone of buildings built before/ you and i were born" and this line means that they're together in spite of (or against) an already established social stigma of homosexuality being wrong that began before they were even born and has nothing to do with them personally. (the buildings of course being a representation of a strict structured societal dogma almost) i don't know for sure but it makes sense to me |

actually it's... "I'm feeling anxious. Not enough to kill me, ..." Ive always liked tegan and sara, but i never considered them my favorite band (although living room has always been my favorite song). That is until i heard their new album - now im completely obsessed with it and all the songs on it. I think i may even like it better than dcfc - plans, which is not easily done. |
