I agree with the above comments and I really like Michael getting his feelings out, negative or positive. I like hearing even the negative and I love how he adjusts his voice to convey emotion as heard in Who is it?ect he sounds slightly strained, darker, angrier. I agree that it is probably a reflection of what was going on his life |

I agree with the theme of disappointment.
Disappointed that whatever was supposed to never happened but he clearly understands to 'walk away' is neccesary even if he desperately wants her to stay with him. |

When I was little my parents used to threaten to put on this video if I didn't go to sleep. So I ran the hell off to bed and tried not to recall how the zombies pushed aside their gravestones and MJ's eyes at the end. But it was good to watch in the daytime, with my sister ..and my dad..and maybe my mum. Yup, that's how the video affected me. Michael Jackson I'll miss your imagination. No-one will make videos like you, no ones heart will beat faster in anticipation of the next fascinating music movies. You are such an inventor.

I think that's very innacurate.
He gave over $300million to charity - no other artist has beaten that record.
He used his theme park to enlighten sick children - so he did care.
What makes you thnk he didn't care for (his) animals? You can see he always kept animals and loved animals because animals don't judge you. What about "Ben" and the rats he kept as a kid? Muscles, the snake? Louie the llama? He had keepers in his ranch too for the animals.
I think Michaels comments on some Jewish people were spoken from his own experience and his fustration. Don't pretend you haven't heard people say things and generalise Oh 'black people this..White people that...Asian people something else...' Its clear a lot of people spent their lives taking advantage of MJ and it may so happen some were Jewish. I don't think he hates Jewish people. Saying that I do not defend racism, anti-semetism or sectarianism.
Penultimately, Michael Jackson was not evil and was not a criminal. And that is also according to the justice system (even after his unfair trial, IMO).
Finally I think most people want the world to be a better place.

This song speaks out about all the people who suffer discrimination, including Michael himself, and how unneccesary it all is. I love how he doesn't have to make it too obvious and sing,"#I am upset about this situation...#" he uses these short hard phrases and allows you too think about them yourself. A very intelligent set of lyrics from MJ. It shows his anger at people being judgemental and higlights some clear issues (Segregation) (Throw the brother/In jail) (if Martin Luther was livin'/He wouldn't let this be). He addresses the issues that are clearly about him (Don't you Black or White me) - his skin colour is always questioned. (I'm tired of being the victim of hate) - if he has done anything that deserves so much hate from a lot of people, fair enough but he's a 'victim'. Everyone has thier own little Michael Jackson theory but what has he done wrong? Nothing. He's almost too good as a person and yet there are always false allegations based on untruths and people being too quick too judge. |

I think this song sounds loads bette with just him and a piano. But its very pretty.
Once you listen to it clean-cut, just a piano and a beautiful voice, you might listen again and find the electrostuff a bit interupting

I don't understand this song too much. But its definately a love song.
Just to feel someone on your skin can take your breath away but is all it is physical?
