I could be taking this completely differently than intended (and according to Jason's interpretation, I am), but I could also see it as him being in a relationship that failed, and singing to a previous girlfriend about how she's still "the only one" for him. |

This song could be interpreted two different ways. Most of their songs are, and that's why I love them. If could be interpreted as a Christian song, where he's singing about God. It could also be interpreted as being about a failing relationship, and he feels he can't live without her. |

What I like about their music is that they're Christian rock, but a lot of it can also be interpreted in a non-Christian way. This could be about wanting a friend to stay with him through a hard time, to help him get through it. |

The way I've always interpreted this is as a song about herself, kind of to herself. It could be about another person, but it could be about yourself. Anyone else interpret it that way, or am I just crazy? |

She like, went against her labels advice and took a chance leaving a successful pop career she was unhappy with to pursue a country duo with her best friend, having no idea if anybody would buy the album or show up to their concerts, or if the album would even be released.
