this song for me means alot different then what you guys have come up with. idk why but it reminds me of my mom...but ill try to explain. "I'll tell you now you can't win this You're way too slow I'll tell you I'm gonna take this Did you come here to watch me burn?" Im thinking a parent or something of the such is being basically mean, you know like yelling at them about how much of a dissapointment they are and the guy whos singing is saying this verse inside his head. " Im gonna take this" kind of shows that he/she is going to deal with his/her parents telling them off but they arent going to listen because they think that it isnt true. umm thats what i get out of it...idk. haha |

This is such a pretty song. "This place is growing more dark, like our eyes Becoming everything everything I see when I look at you and your machines that will speak" I think this means about somebody who listens to what other people tell her to do "Starlight in the back of my head Do you know I use it to wake up, do you? Ghosts of you that hide away I’ll use you to wake up" Perhaps he has given up on life, the only reason he wakes up in the morning is for her. I adore this verse. This, like most of evans blue songs, is a love song. I believe that its talking about outside facotors changing somebody he loves and things becoming complicated, hence the verse "I miss the way a simple harness, you being simple" "I just want you to be the way I want you and no that’s not the same way Leave me now I know who you are Far be it for me to save you from this hell" Maybe she didnt turn out to be the person he thought he knew and hes trying to change her? "And wanting to keep you away Just brings you closer and closer to me" Ahh now this is a lyric i can closely relate to. For me it means that maybe he thinks he isnt good enough and only wants the best for her but every time he trys to get over her he just likes her more. Im really surprised that nobody has commented this yet it is a pretty song |

This song was paired up with Evans Blue's Cold and so the songs come full circle. I think the girl doesnt quite know who she is yet, in private shes different than she is in public hence the "when she came out, she brought her anger she left her sympathy behind the walls she built for me" shes also probably angered by the world for not accepting her for who she is or maybe angered that the world doesnt seem to accept their relationship. "you wouldn't want to let us go easy" maybe be that they know their perfect for each other but different forces are trying to split them apart but she wont let go with out a fight because she knows it is worth it. The guy on the other hand does dare for her but is more influenced by the outside world hence the line "you wouldn't want to let him down easy". Shes afraid to lose him so she tries to make as little mistakes as possible to hold on to him. Now the guys view comes into play with "I want you for who you are," saying that he does want this relationshipt to work out. But with the "something tells me love isn't enough" lyric hes saying that its hard and maybe the girl is unsure of what exactly shes striving for. "you're not so evil, I'm not so good" might mean that at first they thought they were very different from each other and that it wouldnt work out but now they find that they are similar and questioning on why the outside world says it wouldnt work out. But on the other hand they're starting to fight because both are so afraid of losing each other and to try to stick together they're threatening each other with "im leaving" but both know it isnt true when they say it and they wonder if and when it will be true just on how i look at it =) |

I absoulty adore this song. when i first heard it i thought it was annoying with all the quote and unquotes but afterwards i loved it and it has made me cry a couple of times. i love the line " you have been so ugly your entire life so why change now" =) love this song soo much |
