Pearl Jam – Porch Lyrics

I don't see what's so hard to get about this song. It's partly polical but partly a call to join hands instead of leaving these brain dead twats like Georgey Bush to run the show |

Pearl Jam – Last Exit Lyrics

This song is indeed about death and not Kurt's. Death is not th eend it's a rebirth. You go to the light and are then reborn. Welcome to immortalitly! Last Exit means he doesn't want to be reborn again, he's tired of living.
There are many similar references to this in PJ songs as well as bands like Led Zeppelin. |

This is about the darkness that rules the universe and how we the time travellers and the sun which leads us are under it's power. |

Rush – Tom Sawyer Lyrics

Parrish nailed it with the first post (thank you). The world is what we make it. How we can grow spiritually by trading each others love and energy. If you live by fear and hate you will destroy both yourself and the world.
What you say about his company
Is what you say about society
Catch the mist
Catch the myth
Catch the mystery
Catch the drift

Rush – Cygnus X-1 Book II: Hemispheres Lyrics
| 17 years ago

This song is about the journey of man through the ages (Eternity). How we have travelled many worlds and have become detached from our past. It's very deep (like Stairway To heaven for example) and can't be explained in simple terms. To understand this song you MUST realise that the world we inhabit now is not the one we came from but to sum the moral up we will only progress and return to love when we stop fighting and accept love as the one and only religion. the heart and mind united in a single perfect sphere! |

Rush – The Analog Kid Lyrics

This song remindes me of tripping on LSD and laying in a field in absolute awe of the sky and nature. The Music of the spheres refers to the song of life and the universe. I think this song is really deep and not just about a boy moving to the city. That's not what Rush are about. |
