@ mzquirk: Music is written for everyone, especially if the writer is a master like L. Cohen. So no, it isn't silly to feel as if the song was written for you. It sounded to me like he still loves her, but when he lives with her he realizes that it makes him neglect other things that he isn't ready to give up. |

The song got a lot of exposure from the clip, which is fairly heartwarming, but it stands as a great song in it's own right. My favorite line is "However long you stay is all that I am." |
