yes, Dr. Jones is a referens to the famed Indana Jones after all Aqua has made itself famous on the ablility to sing songs about a) incredibly silly and nonsencincal things b) parodies and songs about well know things (ex: barbie girl, dr. jones, an apple a day, halloween, candyman...etc) |

this song....holds a lot of meaning if you're in the right situation about being broken and sick because of pain thats someones elses fault, and you blame someone else for why you hurt...and they can't take it and it makes you feel guilty and so they leave, but thats not what you want...you only want them...and as selfish as you feel for asking you jsut want them to kiss it an make it better sigh, I listen to this song when I'm home alone in the dark, wishing for companionship I follow this immediatly with a slap in my own face and lecture myself on being to selfish and pittying myself for something that doesn't matter ^^ |

ok they new CD kacks the greatness of the previous ones buut, after a few hours on repeat you appreciate it more...as long as you skip "keep your hands off my girl" *shivers* this song (in my lowly opinion): I like it and understand it while I don't completely agree with it it's people who, first off, think they are the only ones who feel as potently as they do, and are preaching to others. everyne may feel miserable time and again, but COME ON I personaly prefer being happy...as UNCOOL as that is so we should "keep our sadness alive"? like I said, I get it but I don't agree he point of view in this song is discised into seeming like an individual, but realy it's just a very self centered person who needs to lighten up I guess but hey, if you wanna spread your misery, go ahead and contrary to how it may sound when I give my opinion of this song, I like it a lot, one of my favs off the new CD |

*sigh* ok first off, please stop argueing about whether or not GC is good or not, if you have nothing construcive or meaningful to say then scadoodle secondly ok yea, GC is a sellout band and yes they ARE alays just following whats "in" at the time, but that doesn't change the fact that they sound good. they play what appeals to thoughs who listens, is pleasing your audience a crime? no, it's good marketing stratage the only thing that pisses me off about them is the new song "keep your hands off my girl" but only becase I despise hip hop and rap, and the brass nuckle reference make me cringe ^^; as far as the song: I like it, kids can relae well to it (no matter who they are) because EVERYONE hes experienced the feeling of entrappmint and rebellion, the meaning is strait forward, it's conveying that very feeling |
